The first day of American Craft Beer Week is in the bag and it was great. Day two is today and below are the events you can look forward to.
Brewer’s Pizza, 6:00 – 9:00 pm Pinglehead Brewing Company Pint Night
The newest brewery on the First Coast is located in the back room of Brewer’s Pizza in Orange Park and people across the city could not be more excited. Not only are the pizzas – try the Florida Smacker – awesome, these guys brew beer like no one’s business! Expect several taps to be pouring Pinglehead brews, particularly Pinglehead Red a truly phenomenal roasty and hoppy red that you simply must try.
Broudy’s Liquors, Ponte Vedra, 6:00 – 8:00 pm Craft Can Tasting
Broudy’s has been serving the good folks at the beaches and Ponte Vedra for years. Stop in on Tuesday to sample the surprising beers that are being canned these days including Jacksonville’s own Intuition Ale Works’ brews.
Seven Bridges Grille & Brewery, 5:00 – 10:00 pm Tapping Party
Seven Bridges will be tapping their new MacGRYEver ale, a deep red ale brewed with rye and Cascade hops. Pints will be $3 all night, with $1 from each sale supporting the American Diabetes Association’s Tour de Cure. There will also be a pig roast ($5 donation) and live music.
